iljimae (Yi Zhi Mei) =)

Amazing Korean Drama.. !

Lee Jun Ki's acting in this 1 is great!

Synopsis

Set during the Joseon Dynasty, Iljimae acts as a useless gangster in the marketplace by day but at night he is a chivalrous robber who robs corrupt government officials to give to the poor. After each robbery he leaves behind a wooden branch from a plum tree at the site of the robbery to take responsibility for the robbery. Bong Soon is a hilarious girl with good martial art skills and lives as a swindler. She only loves Iljimae and sacrifices her whole life for him. Eun Chan is a doctor’s daughter and is good in nature and usually helps miserable people. She meets Iljimae once by chance, and their sweet love story begins. However, her love puts Iljimae in a dangerous situation because an Imperial Guard also loves her.

The story is extremely touching and i have to commend that this show has one of the best OST ever! Yep the song flower letters (Hwashin) certainly touched my heart.

The orchestral and songs woven within the show brought it up to an entire new level.
This is one of the rare few Korean Drama that has such astonishing songs and music!
Each tune effectively brings up the emotions & I'm already addicted LOL
You have to watch it to believe it!

Nicely being portrayed in this show @.@

Yong and Eun-Chae... Fated lovers since young..they really look good together ^^

The sweet romance of Iljimae between Yong, Eun Chae and Bong Soon is beautiful~~
Lots of heart wrenching moments that rouses emotions but it also balance really well with the action packed fighting scenes as well as the thriller scenes as Iljimae wittedly burglarises each time =)

I think im going to be addicted to the OST for quite sometime now!!!!
I'll re-watch it too !!!!!!!!!ARGH @.@ ITS TOO GOOD

I'll rate it 9/10 (last point is missing as the ending wasn't up to standard i feel)
Not a nice conclusion to the ending... too hasty with too many questions unanswered ._. hate these kinda endings! LOL

I enjoyed this drama tremendously and if you're a fan of Korean Drama! This is a MUST WATCH!
Yep! Every moment spent on it is worth it ^^
